UK's Largest Dedicated Biodynamic Wine Tasting - 10th November, London

The UK's largest dedicated tasting of biodynamic wines to date will take place on 10th November when over 40 producers - all members of the Syndicat International des Vignerons en Culture Bio-dynamique (SIVCBD) - will show a range of wines from their respective portfolios.

Olivier Humbrecht, President of the SIVCBD, explains: "A vineyard is a living organism and the working practices of our members respect and emanate from this principle, as we believe this is the way to produce the best quality wines from any terroir.  We know the word 'biodynamics' often sparks heated discussions, which is why we've decided to host this tasting and let our wines speak for themselves."

The SIVCBD was created in 1995 and has 73 member wineries throughout France and other European countries, including Germany.  Since 2002 each member is audited by the independent Ecocert SAS agency on their vineyard and cellar practice; a BIODYVIN label is then issued on an annual basis to all members who have been approved and issued with a certificate of biodynamic culture.
