Piccini Comes Over All Italian With Memoro

Famous for its top Tuscan wines, Piccini has taken advantage of the new Vino d'Italia classification to launch Memoro - a blend of classic Italian varietals from throughout the country.

Available to the Off-Trade and with an RRP of around £9, Memoro is made up of 40% Primitivo (some of which is passito) from Puglia, 30% oak aged Montepulciano from Abruzzo, 20% Nero d'Avola from sun-soaked Sicily and 10% Merlot del Veneto from cooler climes in the north.  Memoro's label features a compass to reflect the blending of grapes from the four corners of the country, and the first bottles to be released will bear neck-tags in celebration of the 150th anniversary of Italian unification.
