Hallgarten Launches ‘Women With Bottle’ Campaign To Celebrate Female Winemakers on International Women’s Day

Specialist wine importer Hallgarten has launched the latest instalment in its programme of campaigns aimed towards the Independents and On-Trade - this time honouring the female winemakers in its portfolio.

The promotion began on 1st March and will run for three months, coinciding with International Women’s Day on 8th March and Mothering Sunday on 6th March.  Seventeen female winemakers in the Hallgarten portfolio will be highlighted, with the wine selection including products from the classic regions of France, Italy and Germany as well as some more esoteric offerings from Japan, Spain and South Africa.

“Some of the best wines in the Hallgarten portfolio are made by women,” says Hallgarten’s very own Woman With Bottle, Beverly Tabbron MW, “so it’s about time we shouted about these great wines and the women behind them - they’ve taken the helm in a historically male environment and we’re proud to represent them in the UK”

Hallgarten will offer a 12 for 11 on selected wines and produce bespoke digital and social media content to support the campaign, including winemaker Q&As and profiles.
